Ramsom, aka wild garlic, flowers. The plants form a thick border to the start of a bridle path at Wergs. On sunny days during the season the smell of garlic is almost overpowering.

Pollen hanging heavily from a grass growing by a roadside in Tettenhall.

Protective covering (a specialised leaf?) for flowers which are about to develop on a robust umbellifer species. With its hairs and ribbing, it looks to me part animal.

A few tiny blue flowers are visible on this water cress, growing densely in a brook in Berkswell.

Thistles just beginning to flower. These were growing by the brook fed by the spring which gives the village of Berkswell its name.
