Summer is a quiet period for fungi, but I noticed this red cracking bolete growing on the lawn in front of a block of flats.

It eventually got decidedly weathered and nibbled before someone noticed it and kicked it over.

Cherries ripening

Cherries starting to ripen. Wood pigeons ate the lot before they were completely ripe.
