For a moment I thought that a holly growing by the path at Northycote Farm had berries more than twice as big as usual. Looking closer, the holly didn’t have any berries, presumably being a male bush. The tips of twigs of a rose briar were peeping through the holly leaves, with hips similar in colour to holly berries.
