Despite the (mainly) warm winter, I haven’t noticed that the snowdrops are flowering at any different time than usual.

This was my best attempt at trying to catch the moment when the branch stayed still between the gusts of wind.

There were probably about 100 geese altogether in this flock feeding round an oak tree in a cornfield near Berkswell.

They are part of a flock descended from feral birds which now live a few miles away at the Marsh Lane reserve near Hampton in Arden.
