Near the house in Bantock Park.

These natives of the southern Andes do look like their branches are the models for a three-dimensional maze.

This bedraggled mushroom was growing at the foot of one of the roadside trees not far from West Park.

This fly was standing on the edge of the petal, seeming to use the flower as a look-out post.

As far as I know, flies don’t go for nectar. But that is what this one seemed positioned to do.
