Red rugosa rosehips

The crop of these ornamental rosehips is one of many which has done well this year.

These were growing on one of the bushes around Perton Pool, and were still wet after heavy overnight rain.

Sandstone bridge which carries a lane over the Penk.

The bridge crosses the river just upstream from Penkridge. It was built in the eighteenth century, and is Grade II listed.

Another stroll by the Chapel Ash roundabout, another fly agaric mushroom had popped up its head in the canes.
